Ingredients:
- 2 ½ pounds cheese (extra sharp)
- 1 egg
- 4 cups of uncooked macaroni
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 3 cups of milk
- 1 tablespoon of flour
- 1 tablespoon fo salt
- 1 tablespoon of black pepper
- ½ cup of bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
Execution:
- Preheat the oven at 180
- Boil macaroni for about 15 min.
- Drain thoroughly
- In a saucepan, melt butter and 2 cups of milk and 1 cup of cheese. Flavor with salt and pepper. Stir often, until cheese melts. In a separate cup mix ½ cup milk and a tablespoon of flour until smooth. Pour milky flour mixture into saucepan. Stir until thick. Cook on low heat.
- Put noodles in baking dish (albume in noodles)
- Pour sauce over noodles and mix in last cheese and sprinkle bread crumbs and paprika on top.
- Cook about on hour.
- Remove from oven, let stand for 10min.
