Serve: 6 people.
Ingredients:
- 200g frozen berries
- 100g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 250g mascarpone
Sauce:
- 200g of frozen raspberry
- 90g sugar
- a small glass of orange liquor
Preparation:
- in a pan warm up the berries with 100g of sugar, stirring until the sugar is completely melted and the berries are very soft, and you can smash the berries with a wooden spoon until it becomes a cream. Let it cool.
- Whip the yolks with 90g of sugar.
- With a fork, beat the mascarpone until it becomes a cream. Add the yolks and add to the cold berries cream.
- Whip the three egg whites and incorporate to the mixture.
- Pour in a semifreddo mold
- Let it stay a night in the freezer.
For the sauce
- In a pan, melt 200g of frozen raspberries 100g sugar and a little glass of orange liquor.
Leave the semifreddo 45min in the fridge before serving with the sauce.
